Frequently asked questions
Can I edit the converted text and tables?+
Text is rebuilt as paragraphs. Recognized ruled and aligned borderless tables become Word tables. Graphic regions are preserved as images with no character-level editing. Manually adjust columns, table recognition and paragraph grouping.
Will the PDF layout be preserved exactly?+
Font sizes, alignment, page sizes, and page breaks are preserved where possible. Complex columns, merged cells, formulas, vector graphics, and special fonts may not be reproduced accurately. Review the downloaded file in Word or WPS.
Are scanned documents and OCR supported?+
OCR is not available. Scanned pages stop conversion by default and their page numbers are reported. Use manual settings to preserve them as whole-page images or skip them. Preserved images have no editable text; skipped page numbers are listed in the result.
Are my files uploaded to a server?+
No. Your browser reads and processes the files, and you download the results directly to your device.
